everyone having affinity with the WDKA: students, staff, alumni, institutions

constateren dat:

• we see no transparency from the executive board of the Hogeschool Rotterdam.
• the board wants to provide further explanations after the decision is final.
• in the current statement (HINT, FAQ) the autonomy of the art academy and the space for art is lost.
• the consequences for the WDKA and CMI are not clear.
• the voting by the Central Participation Council (CMR) will be on the 17th of December 2025.

en verzoeken

• stop the merger with CMI.
• transparency: clarity, assurances and answers about the autonomous position and specific consequences of and for the WDKA.
• independence: preserve our autonomous position within the Hogeschool Rotterdam.
• design academy: remain an art and design academy, not only design academy as proposed.
• No relocation.
• No renaming to ‘Design Academy’.
• Preserve the curriculum, preserve staff and teacher contracts.
