We
Biology students in Leiden and other concerned parties
establish that:
- There is great concern about the disappearance of three botany courses.
- These courses were taught by Naturalis, but they no longer wish to offer them in the coming academic year.
- In addition to concerns about the future of botany, the general development of science, and the social responsibility to properly educate future generations of biologists, there are many questions: Why is the continuity of the field being jeopardised in this way?
- A letter has been written to the parties concerned about our concerns. To give this letter a boost, you can sign this petition.
