Save the yellow pins... and 14 swamp oaks

The municipality of Eindhoven is considering creating a temporary parking lot for busses at the site of the well-known yellow pins. But that would also require the felling of 14 mature and valuable swamp oaks. We must prevent this!

We
the residents of the municipality of Eindhoven and nature lovers in the Netherlands,
establish that:
- the municipality has plans for a parking lot for buses at the beginning of the Kennedylaan.
- the well-known artwork with the yellow pins ('Flying pins') has to be temporarily moved for this purpose.
- The municipality does not mention that fourteen 65-year-old swamp oaks will have to be cut down.
- as a result, this beautiful green space will turn into an irreparable and horrible slab of asphalt.
- this must be prevented
and request
to exclude this option from the planning and to investigate and designate other locations for the parking lot. So that the artwork and the 14 swamp oaks are preserved.
